SAMARCH is a wonderful opportunity for any up and coming ecologist, not only did I get the chance to enhance my skills filed work and data collection but also had the opportunity to network with people that work in the scientific community giving me a look into life as a scientific researcher.

Also, I got the pleasure of contributing data to a running scientific experiment that will eventually be published. I enjoyed my time at the fluvarium and staying in the provided cottage accommodation; it was relaxing and I had spare time to get on with external university reports.
